“I already have general liability.”

GL almost always excludes liquor. Under New York’s dram shop law, you can be held liable for what happens after the pour, on premises or off. Liquor liability is the policy that covers that gap.

“My license hasn’t been approved yet.”

That’s the best time. Quotes in hand before approval means no scramble on opening week, and no signing whatever’s fastest under deadline pressure.

“What’s it going to cost?”

Depends on seats, hours, and how much of your revenue is liquor. Most small places find it’s less than they feared. Finding out costs nothing.

Who’s behind this? Jack Reece. I work with New York bars, restaurants, and taverns on liquor liability. You deal with me directly, start to finish. Email jreece@elminfo.net or call/text 845-303-0783.
